The Research Room of the Benalla  Historical Society Inc. will be closed until early 2023.

Items available for research include:

• Benalla Newspapers dating back to the 1800’s.
• Many Local Family History records.
• Some former Municipal, and Benalla based Government Regional Office records.
• Many early and more recent Benalla and District photographs.
• Early maps of the area
• Books and documents relating to local history.

Much of the research room content is computer catalogued and this process is continuing
