The Echuca - Moama Family History Group have released a set of 9 fiche of the Burial Index and Monumental Inscriptions of the Echuca Cemetery. The set commences with introductory notes and an overall plan of the cemetery. A subsequent plan is given for each section, with a written explanation. The index and transcriptions are linked. There are approximately 12,000 names in the index and approximately 3,600 inscriptions. The cost of the set is AU$40.00.

The Echuca District Hospital Admission Registers 1882-1931 have now been indexed & checked & are ready for purchase. There are 18,000 entries on 4 microfiche. The purchase price is AU$30.00 post paid in Australia. The index contains Page No, Patient No, Surname, Christian or given name, age, year, result of hospitalisation - ie relieved, ISQ (in status quo, no change), better, cured or died - if the latter, date of death, town/area of residence & country or state of birth. Available but not included is reason for admission, by whom recommended, religion, date of admission & discharge. The records appear to be intact & admissions are noted from people from every corner of the globe. They are also a commentary on the sociological & medical conditions of the day.
