Meetings

The Society holds monthly meetings from February to December

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month
at Old Post Office Museum, Yarra Street, Warrandyte
from 8 pm (7.30 pm during winter months)
Please contact a committee member to verify date of general meetings if planning to attend as sometimes it has been necessary to alter meeting dates

The Annual General Meeting is held on the third Sunday afternoon in July

Visitors are most welcome


Sun 19 July

Annual General Meeting at 2.00 pm at Old Post Office Museum.
Guest speaker: Jim Brown (Victorian Bus Poetry Champion) will entertain us with his unique style of Australian poetry classics. The book launch for Murray Houghton's new book, Warrandyte - the community with a heart of gold will also be held during the afternoon to be followed by afternoon tea (Please bribg a plate).

Congratulations

Congratulations to Cliff Green (one of our members and past president of our historical society) on his award of the Medal of the Order of Australia received in this year's Queen's Birthday Honours List for his contribution to the Australian film and television industry as a screenwriter and educator - a recognition truly deserved.
