Welcome to the fascinating world of genealogy where we all seek that elusive ancestor. We may find all manner of interesting ancestors, whether they were people of influence, in the military or a profession, or the humble worker.
        We meet every 4th Thursday of the month from February  to November at the Sir John Gorton Library, cnr Murray Valley Highway &  Shadforth Street, Kerang. Visitors and new members are most welcome.
        
        Our group has been helping people research and build their  family trees for over 30 years and over that time, we have promoted and  encouraged the pursuit of family history. Our aim is to:
We have an extensive range of resources from the Kerang area, Victoria, Australia and Overseas, including FREE access to the internet and Ancestry.com to help members with their family research. These resources are continuously being added to.
      Discover  your ancestors among the myriad of resources held  by the society. Access in person during library hours  by giving a small  donation, or alternatively, we are happy to assist with your research for a modest fee.
