ABOUT US
The J&DHS Inc. formed in 1991 have their headquarters and museum in the Old Jamieson Courthouse.
Manned and run by local volunteers who work very hard to preserve the history of Jamieson and the Upper Goulburn Region, which covers the area from Howqua through to Matlock and beyond.
The Societies interest in this region covers the townships, settlements & ghost towns of

MEMBERSHIPS & SUBSCRIPTIONS
Due to insurance changes we have been forced to reorganise the structure of our society into three categories:

Members, Australian Subscribers and Overseas Subscribers.

MEMBERS:
Those who will be involved in working bees and participate in society activities.
They receive the Society's bi-annual Newsletter, The Jamieson Chronicle, which contains information about the Society's progress, meetings and other activities as well as articles about the districts past and are covered by our Insurance policy.

AUSTRALIAN & OVERSEAS SUBSCRIBERS:
Those who have ancestors or an interest in our area, they are unlikely to visit but wish to be kept informed through our bi-annual newsletter, and have no need for Insurance cover.

Subscriptions and membership fees are used to cover the cost of the production of the newsletter and postage, the balance is then used to assist in building up the Society's resources & collection & towards the continued restoration, maintenance & day to day running costs of the building.

Members - Australia only - $15.00 per annum, one membership per household
Australian Subscribers - $10.00 per annum
Overseas Subscribers - $15.00 AUD per annum

MEETINGS
Meeting are held at the CFA meeting room (behind CFA shed on Brown Street) on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 5pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
