ServicesThe Association is in the process of building a comprehensive computer database, listing references to Families and their descendants, and covering not only the local district but also the wider area of the Wimmera region in Western Victoria. The information related to this database has been obtained from a multitude of sources, and at present this ever-increasing database has over 272,000 entries concerning names of Wimmera Family members, some dating back to the late 1800’s. Also available to researchers are the Associations transcriptions of burials in all the Cemeteries covering the Wimmera and surrounding areas. The information available varies from full registry book details plus some obituary details to headstones only. Some early registry books were burnt in fires and some lost. Information is available on the following Cemeteries:
