Radnell's Seven Brothers Reef

Radnell's Seven Brothers Reef

This reef was discovered in October 1894 on the western fringe of the Tarnagulla goldfield. Two of the Radnell Brothers opened up a quartz reef rich in gold. They kept the find quiet, and with their other brothers pegged out claims all around the find. It was an exciting event for Tarnagulla, but unfortunately the reef was just a flash in the pan, and the claims were abandoned several weeks later.
