Narbethong Reunion — May 5th 2012
Inside the new Narbethong Community Hall.
It is a unique and beautiful mixture of open design and fine timber.
About 90 present and prior residents of Narbethong met in the newly rebuilt Community Hall to meet old friends.
People came from as far as Queensland!
Many were the catch-up talks and reminisces both inside and outside the Hall.
The selection of photos on display were keenly inspected, and many new photos brought by visitors were scanned on the spot by the History Group.
History Book
It was announced that the History Book was underway with any and all profits returned to Narbethong community under the auspices of Narbethong Progress Association. Despite the estimated completion date being a year away, about 65 copies were pre-ordered on the spot.
For the Reunion event, a DVD of selected photos was played in the background. We received many orders for copies of this DVD; they will be finalised and deliveries start at end of June.
There is still time to get your favourite Narbethong stories included in the History Book. Cut-off for new material will be about the end of August.
