Yarra Plenty Swimming Club seeks to become a leading swimming club within Victoria through

Key Objectives for 2009/2012

Goal

Strategy

Grow membership of competitive swimmers (25 and under) by 10% p.a. for the next three years.

Major focus on swim school swimmers 13 & under and building up numbers from younger swimmers up.

 

Prepare a Sponsorship Policy

We have a draft policy.
Committee to review and implement by June 2009

Create a structure that enables/encourages club members to become Swim Victoria recognised officials (in all capacities).
Also 1st aide training, CPR training etc.
 

Liaise with Metro North re training of these people
Jaws newsletter article on aim and strategy of the strategy.
Aim is to enable us to run an official meet using purely internal resources.

Increase number of sessions attended by squad members by 25% yearly for the next three years.

Recruitment of new members plus increase average attendance by existing and new members.

Diversify squad offerings
 

Improve position at State LC Championships from 30th Victorian club to 20th Victorian Club

Timeline: 3 years - equates to 25% per annum increase in points.

 

Financial Goal
To be debt free by start of operation of new Greensborough centre
 

Restrain spending, maintain swim school income and profitability, implement sponsorship program to cover increased coaching and support costs
