All
staff are Austswim
qualified and hold additional qualifications for specialist areas. For
example, Preschool, Swimmers with Disabilities, Squad training, Lifesaving
Courses, CPR Courses, etc. We
have a personality on staff to suit every child.
At
the peak time of the year we would have well over 2000 children through
each week. This includes
those in the schools program. In
learn-to-swim we probably average about 1400 each week over the year.
The Club is a family orientated Club and so is the Swim School
We
are a member of the Swim School Owners Association.
To become a member of the Association we have to pass an audit of
all areas of the business and these areas are rechecked at random for as
long as you are a member. The
motto of the Swim School Owners Association is “A United Commitment to
Excellence”. This is from
their website:
“All
member swim schools have been inspected by our Standards Committee to
ensure that our "high" standards are achieved in all areas of
operation including water quality, teaching philosophy, programs, staff
qualification, training, facilities, safety and emergency procedures
just to name a few”.
