Dear
Dr T,
One hot Easter a group of us, returning from a trip to the Bogong High
Plains, stopped at Bogong Village for a bite to eat before the long drive
home. After ordering our food and sitting down, the management opened
the window next to us allowing a stiff cold breeze to blow in. Some customers
were seen talking to the manager who then came over and asked us to leave
as we were offending his other patrons with the smell of our unwashed
bodies. Is this intolerant or what?
yours, Smelly Walker
Dear
Smelly,
I've received similar complaints but from the other side of the fence.
Like the one about my previous correspondent who smelled just as rank
as you, only this was before the walk started. Or what about poor
old "Nauseous Walker" who had to share a tent for several days
with someone who never washed or cleaned his teeth. In the interests of
personal hygiene and thought for others, Dr. T always has a wash no matter
what the temperature after a walk.
