Photo Competition Details - 2009

Photo Competition Rules

• Entries must be submitted to the secretary (Nick F) prior to 6:30pm on the night of the End of Season Dinner / AGM
  (it would be appreciated and seen in good light by the judges if submitted prior to the night).
• Photos may be submitted on CD, or commonly used flash memory cards (bring your own USB cable & card reader if you have something unusual).
• Limit of 6 photos per person.
• Photos must be in jpeg format.
• Photo filenames should include the photographer's name, the title or caption, and be numbered 1 to 6.
      eg. John Smith - Nice view - photo 1 of 6.jpg
• Do not place captions or any other text within the image.
• Photos must have been taken on a YHA trip this season.
• Entries will be judged by Committee office bearers on the night of the End of Season Dinner / AGM.
• The winning photos will be displayed on the YHA Cross Country Ski Club web site.

Prizes
We have secured a $25 gift voucher from Rocky Valley Bikes & Snow Sports, but other prizes are still being finalised.

• Major Prize $TBC gift voucher from an outdoor shop (sponsor TBA)
  - Best Picture Season 2009
• Minor Prizes ($TBC gift voucher's) for categories of:
  - Best Action
  - Best Scenic
  - Best Artistic
  - Funniest Photo and/or Best Caption
