14th August 2009 Photo Competition
We now have a sponsor for this season's Photo Competion, so make sure you take plenty of photos on the slopes this season! Rocky Valley Bikes & Snow Sports of Mt.Beauty have generously offered to provide a gift voucher for one of the prizes.
The competition will be judged at this year's End of Season Dinner / AGM in November.
We will be awarding a prize for Best YHA Skiing photo for season 2009 and lots of minor prizes as well.
Please note that only pictures taken on official YHA ski trips will be accepted.

19 May 2009 Trip Program
The 2009 trip program is now available. Fifteen trips are planned across 5 mountains,
however places are filling fast - indeed the Beginners Plus and Mt Hotham Extended Weekend trips are now fully booked
and half the places on the Beginners Weekend are gone. Contact trip leaders to book places - sooner rather than later!
We are working on an online trip status system
to keep you up-to-date on how full each trip is. It is still undergoing testing - All information on the form should be treated as provisional only
- check with the trip leaders to confirm availability, etc.
19 May 2009 Lake Mountain Bushfire Recovery
The club has scheduled a number of day trips to Lake Mountain this winter as a practical measure to support local communities and businesses as they re-establish themselves following the January bushfires.
While Lake Mountain was extensively damaged, the resort will be re-opening in readiness for the ski season.
Rocky Valley Bikes & Snow Sports of Mt.Beauty have generously offered to provide a gift voucher for one of the prizes.
