Booking
How to book on a trip:
- Before booking, if you have any questions regarding a particular trip or our activities in general,
contact us or the trip leader using the Online Query Form
- ensure you select the relevant trip or event.
- To make a booking, it is best to contact the trip leader(s), either by email or the Online Query Form mentioned above.
The leaders' email addresses are included in the version of the ski club programs that are
distributed on our mailing list. To get the latest copy of our program,
you can subscribe to our mailing list.
- Once contacted, the trip leader will then send you a booking form (with disclaimer). Read the disclaimer and fill out the form.
- Payment must be made in full when booking. Deposits alone are not accepted.
We strongly prefer payments to be made by direct deposit into the Ski Club bank account.
This is easy to do, especially if using online banking, and avoids the necessity to handle cash.
To make a direct payment once a booking has been accepted, ask the trip leader for the account details
and make a direct deposit of the trip fee into the YHA Ski Club account.
For security purposes the account details are not provided on this website, but they are provided in
information given to subscribers to our mailing list, and are also available from the trip leader directly.
- Email the booking form (with details of your payment) to the trip leader / booking officer.
- After bookings have been finalised, you will be contacted by either the trip leader or nominated driver to organise transport.
Please Note:
- Bookings are accepted at the leader's discretion.
- Late bookings may not be accepted. It is recommended that you book well in advance, especially for
trips that require accommodation to be booked.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Accommodated trips - 14 days notice of cancellation needs to be given to the trip booking officer prior
to the trip departure date. After this date no refund will be given unless said position is filled by another participant.

Non accommodated trips - may be cancelled up to the date of departure, but will incur a $5.00
handling fee for refunds (Alternatively, trip fees may be put towards future trips at no cost.)

If the club cancels a trip (usually because of poor conditions or too few participants) your money
will be refunded in full, or may be put towards another trip of your choice.
