A trailable yacht is one which is larger than a dinghy but still small enough to be towed easily by your average family sized car. The vary in size from about 16-30 feet, and in price from about $2000 (very basic) up to $40000 or more.

for racing, the crew is usually 2-4 people. For crusing, the crew is as many as you can safely fit on board.
