In addition to regular team competition, the WRTA offers a variety of competition for senior and junior competition players.

Currently, the Senior Match Committee run a round-robin tournament open to all senior competition players. This tournament is run over the Melbourne Cup Weekend with cash prizes for the winners and the runners-up.

WRTA Round Robin Tournaments Details
Currently the WRTA runs a tournament for junior players. This tournament has a round robin format which means all players get to play more than one match.
This tournament provides players the opportunity to play tournament tennis in the local area, preparing players for further tournament tennis.

Tennis Vic Junior Pennant Competition Details
Currently the WRTA participates in a 10 week competition which is run by Tennis Victoria for junior players. The dates are usually between September to November. The Junior Match Committee select teams of 4 players based on the current standing in the regular weekend WRTA Junior Competition.
This competition provides the higher-ranked players the opportunity to play competition tennis against other tennis regions.

Eric Johnson Cup Details
Currently the WRTA participates in a 3 "state" competition (Victoria, South Australia and Albury) called the Eric Johnson Cup. The dates are usually around Australia Day in January. The Junior Match Committee select a team of 12 players based on the current standing in the regular weekend WRTA Junior Competition and travel to the Cup venue which is rotated through the 3 states.
This tournament provides the higher-ranked players the opportunity to play tournament tennis and support their state. There is also the possibility of travelling to another state for this tournament.
