Rights on line is taking a back seat at the moment, we're focusing all our energy on Our Rights, Our Voices: the Women's Report Card Project

So, what was it about?

When women's human rights are at threat, mass letter writing actions can be crucial to reversing the threat, achieving justice or effecting change. Rights Now! Email list is an action based email list which provides subscribers with regular action bulletins directed at Australian or international targets. Membership of the Action List is open to currently subscribed WRANA members.

The Women's Rights Action Network Australia (WRANA) is committed to achieving change in Australia's domestic human rights agenda. We want to create a critical mass of women who are passionate about taking action on human rights. You can contribute to building the momentum for change by becoming a part of our rapid response advocacy email list.

Each month you will receive a ten minute action on a current domestic human rights issue. It may ask you to phone, fax, email or write to politicians or other actors. This will be a moderated list, restricted to the monthly action, with the possibility of an extra action if warranted by current events. With your input, Australian women can challenge the complacency in Australia about the achievement of human rights standards in our community.
