OUR RIGHTS, OUR VOICES: WOMEN'S REPORT CARD PROJECT

 

The Women's Report Card Project is a chance for women from across different sectors, different backgrounds, different points of view, and different locations across Australia to have their voice heard domestically and in the international arena.

The project will, ultimately, produce a "Shadow Report" to the UN committee responsible for the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). However, before we go to the UN, we will work with women in every state and territory to increase the capacity of women to use the human-rights framework. We will produce reports on each state and territory. Indigenous Women will produce a report on key human-rights issues they face. And will collate all the information in an Australian Community Report.
