Howmans Gap Camp 2008

This year's camp will be held from Sunday17th to Friday 22nd August.

The format of the camp will be day tours. Beginner's level lessons are available from Windy Corner and easy day tours will be arranged for anyone who is new to skiing.

We ask that members do not ski alone, for safety reasons. Each group will have a leader who is responsible for the members in that tour. The groups will not have fewer than 4 skiers, and it is very important that you stay with your nominated group for the day. As the weather can change very suddenly, these rules are for your safety and that of the group.

Most of the rooms are 4-6 beds. The charge includes accommodation, and 15 meals (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner) from Sunday evening dinner through Friday lunch.

There will be additional charges for Nordic Trail fees, daily gate entry for Falls Creek, and a small amount to cover petrol costs for members whose cars are used to ferry people up and down each day. These costs are minimal and paid when actually at Howmans Gap camp.
