View the WineMate User Guide
v4.x release is the
freeware version of WineMate under the GNU General Public
License.
WineMate/Palm_V4_20.zip (Size: 78 Kb)
WineMate/Palm, the
PalmOS application, plus documentation.
Note:
WineMate/Palm v4.x includes changes to the WineMate
database structures and a update utility must be run
if you are migrating from version 3.x - this utility
is no longer included in the distribution, if you
need it please contact us via email.
For new
users, if you have downloaded a v3.x distribution
from the Internet, it is highly preferable that you
download and install v4.x before creating any data so
that you do not have to upgrade your database
version.
WineMate/Palm Base Parameters File (Size:
2Kb)
The WineMate/Palm base
parameters file - only download this file if you are
a new user to WineMate and would like a basic
parameters set (Australian oriented) to get you
started - DO NOT download and install this file if
you have an existing WineMate database !
Note: The
base parameters file is valid for both v3.x and v4.x
releases of WineMate/Palm.
WineMate/Palm_V4_20_Source.zip (Size: 420Kb)
WineMate/Palm source
code - includes full source code, documentation etc
for v4.20 ... the code is setup for a build
environment as follows :-
- PalmOS Developer
Suite for core tools, including CygWin, and
SDK
- PilRC (Pilot
Resource Compiler) for resources (Note: I was
using this tool before PDS came out)
- POSE and PalmSim
for testing
- Palm Reporting
for debugging
It's been a long time
since I set all this up, so don't ask about details -
find some doco around the Web !
v4.x of WineMatePC is the
first release of the WineMate desktop companion.
WineMate/PC, a desktop
companion applications for WineMate/Palm, plus
documentation.
WineMate/PC allows you
to import, update in "batch mode" and
export WineMate databases on a Windows desktop. Note
that at this point WineMate/PC does not support full
synchonisation with WineMate/Palm, it is currently
intended for use as a viewer and bulk import tool.
WineMate/PC now has
it's own Web site - please visit winematepc.free.fr to download WineMate/PC.
