he Combined Probus Club of Wheelers Hill Inc. was formed on 17th May 2002 and was formally accredited by the Probus Centre South Pacific Inc. on 21st June 2002. The Club enjoys a healthy membership of 130 with a 60/40 ratio between the sexes of members and actively endeavours to maintain this balance through its membership policy. The Club operates under Probus' Constitution and Club By-Laws and has its own set of Operational & Management Guidelines. The Club holds formal meetings every third Friday of the month at the Mulgrave Country Club in Wheelers Hill. The 2 hour meetings provide an opportunity for fellowship and to host visiting speakers, who entertain our gatherings on a wide variety of interesting topics. Special Morning Teas are held at the September and April meetings and are always popular events. The club is managed by a Committee, which is elected annually by the members. Sporting, artistic, entertainment and fellowship Activity Groups within the Club constitute a vital component of our Club's culture. These Groups are keenly attended and members are encouraged to also recommend other activities of interest. Activity Co-Ordinators facilitate the operation of these groups. The club also produces a comprehensive monthly Newsletter. Please enjoy browsing our website.
