Arch of Triumph, built in 1925 to commemorate locals who fought in the First World War. It was designed by G. M. Dawe and the architect was G. D. Garvin. Prior to 2000 the path forked just inside the gates, going either side of the curator's house (which stood somewhere near where this photo was taken from).
