Woman's Christian Temperance Union of Victoria, Inc.

We are a non-denominational, international, Christian Women’s organisation which has been working in Australia for over 100 years.

In its early years the W.C.T.U. was active in issues such as obtaining votes for women, Federation of the Australian colonies and free kindergartens, as well as its main focus of promoting a positive, healthy lifestyle free of alcohol and other drugs. Its motto is "For God, Home and Humanity" and it continues to educate people, especially young people, about the dangers of drugs and gambling and on moral issues.

We promote non-alcoholic fruit drinks as a safe and delicious alternative to alcohol drinks. We would be happy to give a fruit drink demonstration to church, school or community groups, or could speak on other aspects of our work. Our experienced School Drug Ed Team also has an excellent program suitable for youth groups.
