What's Happening?

A wide range of activities are covered at the Club's meetings. Firstly, there are six bi-monthly competitions a year, which are open to all members. These allow members to participate in friendly competition to improve their photographic skills. New members are encouraged to enter small prints (4" x 6") straight away. Small prints are judged separately to help you learn from the judges comments. Once confident you will be encouraged to enter large prints. There is an End of Year competition awarding trophies for the best print and slide of the year. Each month the club has a guest speaker at our meeting. These talks range from travelogues to practical sessions. Each second month the presenter is a member of the club giving a demonstration on a requested subject with the input of members on the night. The alternate month the presenters are from the Victorian Association of Photographic Societies' list of judges and presenters. These nights help to broaden horizons. Further details may be obtained from the Syllabus page.
