Chinese Cultural Activities



Traditional dance, choir, games, drama, lion dance etc.
Open to everyone aged 6 and above.

One of the main objectives of our Association is:-
To promote Chinese cultural development among the Chinese residents and for anyone who interested, to exchange culture and contribute to the multi-cultural diversity of Werribee and Australia.

    Children Activity Group

    This activity caters for children aged 3 and above.

    In this activity group these children will have the opportunity to learn and play, Chinese, arts, histories, stories and writing, and at the same time be exposed to Chinese culture, songs and music. Teacher for this activity group use English and Mandarin to communicant with the children.

    Session starts at 1.30 .p.m to 4.00 p.m. every Saturday.

    Chinese School

    The Chinese language classes are run every Saturday, from 1.15 pm to 4.00 pm. Teachers are come from mainland China with qualified teaching. The references materials/books we use are from China, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia.
    Mandarin 1 (1A & 1B) - designed for beginners, for those who have a little basic Chinese language skills. Teacher for this class can use English and Cantonese in teaching.

    Mandarin 2 (2A & 2B) - is designed for those who transferred from M1 or have already have basic Chinese language skills (eg. reading, speaking, writing and understanding).

    Adult Chinese Class

    Adult Mandarin class is for adults who wish to obtain aknowledge of Chinese language and culture. A useful alanguage knowledge can obtain speaking, understanding, reading and writing. teacher for this class will use English and Cantonese.

    Session starts at 4.00.p.m to 4.45 p.m. every Saturday.
