West Bourke Local and Family History Fair
Saturday 23 October 2004

10 am to 4 pm

                                     "Family History for Beginners"


2.00pm                        Guest Speaker - Ada Ackerly
                                     "Why can't I find it?  Where can I find it?"


3.00pm                        Guest Speaker - Lenore Frost
                                     "Dating Family Photos"

Catering  -  sales will benefit the Uniting Church Share Appeal

It is anticipated that food tickets will be sold for $2.50, which will entitle the purchaser to a bottomless tea or coffee, plus a single
sandwich, or a slice and small muffin.  Water  will be available for free.  Vegetarians will be catered for.

Upon arrival visitors to the Fair will be asked the following questions to assist with future planning:


Your postcode?
How did you hear about the Fair?
How did you travel to the Fair?



The Planning Committee is very pleased with the positive response received to date and looks forward to working
with the exhibitors to assist them to: 

* increase their membership

* network with other like minded groups

* promote / sell their publications

* promote current projects

* showcase holdings e.g. indexes, photo collections

* add to group holdings


Is your organisation UNABLE to participate at the FAIR?!!!!

Don’t worry - all is not lost. 

All your group needs to do is kindly send the following

            *  membership forms

            *  information flyer (meeting place, times etc.,)

            *  calendar of events for 2004 / 2005

            *  current list of holdings

            *  current & past projects undertaken

            *  any other relevant flyers etc
