About mentoring
The mentoring process begins with a discussion of the project
and the difficulties you are having. The mentor will then talk
about ways of solving these problems. A mentorship is a
discussion between the writer and the mentor in which both of
you search for the best solutions to these issues guided by the
mentor's knowledge of the craft.
When seeking a mentorship, you should ask yourself what you want
from it. It might be regular meetings with your mentor, or
deadlines, or goals, or all three. You can talk about these
matters with your mentor as part of the initial discussion. The
important thing to remember is that the mentorship is for YOUR
benefit.

Mentor referrals
Referred mentors set their own fees and should be consulted
in that regard.
If you have any concerns with your mentorship, you can talk to
Sydney about it. She understands how important it is you get
what you need out of a mentorship - the mentorship is for your
benefit and should meet your needs as a writer.
