Bitumen is being laid and rolled and rolled and rolled ;-). New fence poles are installed. All in readiness for the laying of the new courts on top of the bitumen. More to come....
Autumn '09 NEJTA
A big congratulations to the Watsonia Section 19 Boys and Section 6 girls. Both were Runners Up in last years Autumn season '09. Well done team!!!
Geoff Bottomley awarded for Sports Achievements
President Geoff Bottomley was recently nominated and awarded the Banyule Sports Achievement Award "Club Person of the Year". Geoff has been with Watsonia Tennis Club for over a decade and has done everything from President/Secretary/Treasurer/Junior Organiser/Maintenance Man... the list goes on. Without Geoff, Watsonia TC would not be what it is today.

Coaching - David Wildsmith
Watsonia's resident coach is David Wildsmith. David has been coaching at WTC for over 10 years now. He and his other coach's can teach any ability from early beginners to advanced players.

The 2010 Annual Junior Tournament is back on again (and on our new courts!!). Same time as always - Labour Day Weekend 2010. Entry forms for the event can be found on the Tournament Link to your left.

The club was conceived in 1977 and started off with 4 en tout cas courts and no clubhouse. Today we have 6 en tout cas courts, clubhouse, off-street parking and a great atmosphere.
The club participates in a variety of competitions for juniors and seniors. Click on the Competition link in the navigation bar to find out more about these competitions.
The Club also runs an extremely successful VTA approved WTC Junior Tennis Tournament over the Labour Day Long Weekend.
