Genealogy and Family History in the Horsham and Wimmera district of Western Victoria.

The Wimmera Association for Genealogy was founded in 1972 and has operated continuously through to the present day. It was the first Genealogical Group established in regional and rural Victoria. Although affiliated with the Genealogical Society of Victoria, it operates as an Independent, Incorporated Association.

Our Library is situated in Room 1, Mechanics Institute Building, 33 Pynsent St Horsham Victoria, and is open on Tuesday afternoons, 1.30pm to 4.30pm or by appointment.

There are Monthly Meetings, on the third Monday of each month (except December and January) starting at 7.30pm. There are different topics of discussion each month that are helpful to members in researching different aspects of tracing their Family Tree.
