Children of the Dragon is a community art project, celebrating 30
years of Vietnamese settlement in Victoria and the City of
Maribyrnong. It was performed at the Melbourne Trades Hall as
part of the 2005 Big West Festival between November 16 to November
26.

Viet Boys from Down Under focuses on the journey of Smithy, an orphan from
Vietnam, Brad who is half-Aussie and half- Vietnamese, and
Van a migrant and struggling Melbourne film director.
Together, three different Viet Boys search for love,
identity, work and friendship in a city where culture and
multiculturalism can mean two very different things.

Aussie Bia Om explores prostitution
from a Vietnamese historical context in contrast with the illegal
sex trade in Vietnam and Australia today. In Vietnam, these
combination of illegal brothels, table top dancing and topless bars
are the main source of employment for many young people.
