SURVIVE(D) AND DIED BY PRIVATE VIOLENCE.

Survivors are silent heroes and suffer the grief in silence.

From grief we gain compassion, wisdom and understand joy.

INTERNET SHRINE MEMORIAL FOR SURVIVORS AND VICTIMS OF PRIVATE VIOLENCE:
This Shrine Memorial is to commemorate those who survive and die by private violence and/or their friends/families/professionals/anyone who cares.
Physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual abuse = private violence.
The Shrine Memorial exists in the hope that information technology will unite individuals and/or communities' to generate interest, access to information, healing and recognition relating to private violence (often behind closed doors). Key themes are sexual and physical abuse (such as: rape, incest, domestic violence, and indecent assault) and abuse towards children.
This site will be used as a stepping stone towards the next platform that is the development of a non-cyber shrine memorial in a public space.

Private violence is not the same as public violence - that is at war; soldiers Vs soldiers.
