THIS SHRINE IS TO COMMEMORATE THOSE WHO HAVE
SURVIVE(D) AND DIED BY PRIVATE VIOLENCE.

is building a community of FRIENDS QUESTIONING PRIVATE VIOLENCE. When we look within and think of compassion in our lives this can only lead to positive influence and better understanding of the outside world. In doing so we UNITE.
My dream is not just a quaint neither token gesture nor grand (please accept my humility): the pain of recovery has compelled me to act. For example: the legal systems; police intervention orders, statements, courts, and counseling, therapy, community support services, and the focus on
intervention/crises support for the victim/survivor - all these are extremely limited due to meager funding. They provide limited access and do not address the isolation experienced by people in the community. I choose to contribute to society on a structural level (legal, political systems) and infrastructure.
