The Liberal Party and its leaders have been remiss in not recording more clearly what they believe in and how those beliefs should be translated into action. For those of you looking for a concise and genuinely Liberal statement I commend Liberal Thinking by Chris Puplick and Sir Robert Southey, Macmillan, 1980. At page 52 the authors state:
