The Society's collections exist because of the generosity of many donors over the years. Every item we receive adds a piece to the mosaic of the past, and as such will be carefully retained by Brighton Historical Society. BHS is a registered place of deposit for archival material so you can be assured that anything accepted by us will be held safely for future researchers.

Please Donate rather than discard:

If you no longer want any item, regardless how small, of historical value to the local area, please consider donating it to the Society for preservation. Photographs, memorabilia and period clothing all help expand our collections and would be gratefully received. Please contact the Society if you have an item you wish to donate.
