Satellite / Regional Teams
There
are a number of teams in the regional areas of Victoria which
are directly linked with the VBAC, these teams allow Activity
Leaders to join a local abseil team whilst still being a member
of the core team and being registered to the VBAC as their home
group. This means that who can be an associate/line leader in
your home district/area and also abseil with the local team,
and hold your Activity Warrant with your normal group and be
core to the region team.
All
regional teams are regarded as part of the VBAC and operate under
the Policy and Procedures dictated for abseiling activities in
Victoria under scouting control. The core training and mandatory
Lvl 2 First Aid requirements together with the Victorian Government
'Working with Children' card and normal adult leader clearances
(authority to act / police checks) apply.
