Level of Leader

With the changes that have occurred within Scout Adventurous Activities, and Competency Based Training, the various levels of Abseil Leaders have undergone a series of changes. The title by which the various levels are known now reflect the National Standard (SRO-05) based on that competency as does our training. This area denotes the current levels and the roles and responsibilities of these levels.

Due to the adoption of the new National Abseiling Standards all Current Abseiling Instructors must requalify with the New Scouts Australia Topic 7 & 9 Common Core module, run separately to VBAC Training Courses.
