Abseil Guide Manual This page is the resource for the Abseiling Guide Manual and includes any amendments made (refer to table for version and production details). This is provided as resource only to those who have undertaken an approved course of instruction and require updates. A CD-Rom of the Manual is available to registered Abseil Guide / Adventurous Activity Leaders (Abseiling) upon request to the VBAC for a small production and handling charge. All other users may view the contents for educational or reference purposes only. No person should attempt any technique, activity or element contained within the manual without having undergone an approved course in Abseil Leadership and operate under the safety policies put in place. Abseiling can be a highly dangerous activity if undue care and expertise is not exercised which can lead to injury or death. Note: This addendum version of the manual 2.9e AdIV released in April 2008. The manual is undergoing a full review on this basis and the replacement version should be available in the future. Please contact the VBAC if the a update copy of v2.9e Ad IV is required before the next release.
