The Asylum Seeker Project
exists to contribute to the development of a comprehensive frameowork of
support and to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for asylum seekers
without any entitlements in Victoria.

a space where members and visitors can discuss ideas, read, learn and
reflect upon issues of common interest (and have some fun in the process!)

Campaign for International Cooperation and Development

Founded in 1959 by unionists,
church leaders and peace activists, CICD had been instrumental in peace
activities such as the Vietnam Moratorium, the anti-nuclear movement,
Palm Sunday rallies and the Gulf War opposition. When the Cold War ended,
people assumed that the threat of nuclear war had subsided but the threat
of nuclear war remains and the threat of global militarisation is with
us every day.
