Operates
in a field of art that establishes a relationship between artist, art
and audience signified by social-interaction, exchange, communication
and cooperation. As an important aspect the artist has clearly characterised the source of her work in the discourse of dislocation. The room being the point of intersection between inside and outside, between full and empty. Using room segments such as furniture, she doesn't use them in order to stabilise the place and as language of presence, but as language of absence in order to destabilise the room. PRIVATE + PUBLIC GLOBE VISION + VIEW uses multiple media such as text, language, ideogram, photo, interior, spontaneous social-interaction. A lounge-communication-platform invites people to participate in the process of art. Their task is to exchange thoughts, recollect visions and views one develops, loses, realises throughout life. Gaps and differences between private / public / global visions and views surface. Increased awareness, released concepts might allow new viewpoints ... Participants are challenged to contribute statements. Sylvia Wagner-Weger currently lives and works in Vienna.
