Nusra completed a Master of Fine Art at the VCA in 2002. She has lectured
at the National College of Arts in Pakistan and conducted workshops in
traditional miniature painting. Nusra has participated in the following
group exhibitions, Pakistan, another
vision at SOAS, London, Contemporary
miniatures: India and Pakistan, The Fine Art Resource,
Berlin, Miniature Pakistanaises,
La Maison d’Art Contemporain, France, Specifications
of desire, Oresman Gallery, Smith College, USA, Palette
of Pakistan, Seasons Gallery, Singapore, and Lahore
colours, Alhamra Art Galleries, Pakistan. Nusra has also
held a number of solo exhibitions at Rohtas Gallery, Islamabad, and Joshua
McClelland Print Room and Artholes Gallery, Melbourne. In 2003 Nusra completed
a residency at the 18th Street Arts Complex in Santa Monica, USA and was
commissioned by Landfall Press, Chicago to produce two lithographs. |
