There
is something about Shakespeare, that makes me nervous. Ah, not exactly
nervous but - let me say - excited. Yes, that's the right word. I think
because he exactly connects with my own way of being at home and making
my living-room so convenient. Just let me quote a word of King Lear: "Follow
me; thou shalt serve me; if I like thee no worse after dinner I will not
part from thee yet. Dinner, ho! dinner! Where´s my knave? my Fool?
Go you and call my Fool hither." So, dear ladys and gentlemen, I
cannot express in a better way, why it is so senseless to improve your
furniture, to change your sexual habits or to find out what art is, all
by yourself, unless you did find the right person for playing the fool.
And as for myself, I am a painter, and that should be fool enough for
you, don't you think? |
