melbourneconnectionasia 2003 made substantial connections in the Asia Pacific region through a program which involved 25 artists and 5 art spaces in Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Manila, Yogyakarta and Shanghai. The 2004 program continues to promote dialogue in the region amongst urban artists and between artists and publics, around the issues of global translation, identity and space.

Fifteen metrolite size digital posters, will be exhibited in Melbourne's public transport stops throughout 2004. Connecting Australian audiences to contemporary art, ideas and issues in the Asia pacific region.
