movement and its inner standstill standstill and its inner movement Sound of street-traffic. 7 films form 7 columns rotating vertically on its axis. Neon lamps in the middle of these columns light up different scenes of street-traffic for instance a bus driving from left side to the right. The take of the bus in motion is distributed frame by frame in the sequence of the columns. Frame 01 at column 01, frame 02 at column 02 etc., after the 7th column the motion continues at the first one. In this way 7 frames of each movement can be seen as one image that is turning simultaneously and changing in time. |
