Your equipment DOES NOT affect the quality of your image. The less time and effort you spend worrying about your equipment the more time and effort you can spend creating great images. The right equipment just makes it easier, faster or more convenient for you to get the results you need.
~Ken Rockwell~

We try to grab pieces of our lives as they speed past us. Photographs freeze those pieces and help us remember how we were. We don't know these lost people but if you look around, you'll find someone just like them.

PHOTO REPAIRS

This class is not available for Term 1, 2012.

Photography has come a long way since the development of the computer and the digital camera. Almost any effect is possible using your camera and Graphics Software. From restoring old photos to improving the appearance of a poor photo. Deleting unwanted elements or adding something interesting, making collages, distorting images to create an artistic picture, making Website banners, whatever your imagination dictates.

If you are really interested, download the free Graphics Program Serif PhotoPlus and try it out, at

http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/software/PhotoPlus/

We have been using PhotoPlus 9 and hope to continue using PhotoPlus X4 which is very reasonably priced.

PhotoPlus has a very good help file and a huge Manual in the Adobe format, teaching everything you may want to do to get started at home.

Below are some of the things we did in class and others for homework.

Please click on a thumbnail to see a larger image.

Some of these photographs were taken by Margaret Dunbar the others by our Leader, Eric (Thank you to Eric). All editing done by Margaret.
