We have a social gathering/meeting at the Calala inn on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.30 pm.

With an area so vast that it can take 4 to 6 hours to travel from one end to the other it is little surprise that some of our members may never meet all who live here. From as far south as the little hamlet of Willow Tree on the New England Highway to Uralla and across to Narrabri and back to places like Gunnedah, Premer, Binnaway, Willow Tree, Quirindi and Nundle.

A long day would be ahead of anyone who decides to ride its boundaries indeed. Great vast plains of wheat and grain crops abound to the West and North West with large areas of cotton taking over in many areas to the North as well. Sheep and cattle abound as we come more to the lower and eastern half of the area with the same spread throughout.

Tamworth is the central city, which attracts the greatest names in Aussie country music to the country music festival in January each year. Sports are very strong in the area, as they are in all of Australia, with many names making it to national and international competitions in all arenas. Motor sports are coming to the for with a speedway and Go Kart track in the city, and a super speedway meeting held every year at the local Trotting track with annual hillclimb events to help wet the appetites of the country fans.

Riding can be an experience as one can leave home in perfect sunshine and then find yourself in freezing conditions as the roads climb up onto the New England area around Armidale and Glen Innes.

Then you could find yourself peeling off the gear as westwards brings hotter climates again. Many of our rides often find us travelling over the ranges to the east and on to the coastal regions.

These mainly come about because of the great long winding roads and beautiful scenery that awaits the intrepid motorcycle rider. Trips into and our own region often entail long stretches of straight road but are always complemented with interesting scenery, wildlife and places to visit.
