NOTICE OF MEETING

The Seventeenth Annual General Meeting of U3A Werribee Region Inc. will be held on Wednesday, 25th February, 2009 at the Central Park Community Centre, 80 Lonsdale Circuit, Hoppers Crossing, commencing at 1.30pm.

AGENDA

1. To receive apologies

2. To confirm minutes of the previous Annual General meeting.

3. To receive the President's report

4. To receive and consider the Treasurer's report and audited statement of accounts.

5. To elect officers of association:

President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Programme Co-Ordinator and four other Committee members for the ensuing year.

6. To appoint an Auditor

7. Special business

Please note that any item of general business can be raised for discussion after the closure of the Annual General Meeting.

All members are encouraged to attend this meeting. Not only will you be able to see more democracy in action than is probable in most Western Governments, (certainly since certain events in London circa 1641), but you also get - tea or coffee and biscuits afterwards.
