Annual General Meeting 17th of November 2003 at 11 Am Cost $12.00 The main subject in this issue is our approaching AGM. The AGM will be held at the same venue as last year with the same caterer. The speaker will be Mr. Bruce Mc Brien who we invited back to speak again, because of the time constraints last year we were unable to hear enough of his delightful stories of Melbourne. The venue is "The Church Hall" [next to the Maribyrnong council buildings] in Hyde Street Footscray. Once again we will be having a raffle so we would ask you if you could contribute some items to make a hamper. If we are able to raise enough we can give some money from the proceeds to those attending to soften to cost of $12.00. This will also make someone´s Christmas happier [ask Ann Diwoka last years winner].

The"Murder Mystery" was cancelled due to lack of numbers for the various parts. The conveners will try to find a mystery with less parts, and we will try again later.

Elections   There will be placed in the kitchen mid October a Ballot Box for your choice of candidate For 2004 committee Members your current treasurer has elected not to stand as he has reached the duration of the time he is able to fill the position. Lottie Inselmann has nominated herself for this position. John will nominate himself for the position of an ordinary committee member. "Not happy with your U3A Committee" Vote to change them or nominate yourself to one of the positions.
