Our Annual General Meeting is approaching, the venue this year is 8a Hyde Street Footscray, at the "Church Hall" which is a facility of the Maribyrnong Council, The cost at this stage is $11.00 per head. We are trying to offset this cost with the raffle so no one has to pay the full price. The catering is by a firm who does a spit roast which is a main course & dessert. Your U3A is providing refreshments of soft drink and orange juice. The menu is a spit roast which includes 3 meats 7 salads 4 sorts of sweets, as well as tea and coffee. There is a notice put up for participants to sign, we will be asking for your money in advance, because unfortunately the caterer will need a deposit before undertaking our function. Our Christmas raffle prize is growing, thanks to your generous donations. We will be selling the tickets soon. |
There is a ballot box in the hall as well as voting slips. Your committee would like to urge you to exercise your right to vote for the committee that you wish to represent you in 2003. Your current committee members are;
