Morning Coffee

September 2nd. 2002
Will be a games morning. This will be followed by a beverage and snack.
[Could everyone contribute by bringing a small offering]
 Our monthly committee meeting will follow immediately afterwards.
 
  • Western region U3A has adopted a privacy Statement which is attached to this newsletter.
     
  • Our AGM is approaching and to help with costs the committee are organising a Raffle which we believe will make the AGM more successful but, we need your help if you have spare food or gift items that you could donate we would be most greatful. We will arrange the donations into a hamper. A collection point will be arranged as soon as possible.
     
  • A new class has been proposed for the 2nd and/or 3rd Monday in the month, the class will be Film Appreciation, there are signs on the notice boards asking for expressions of interest.
   We have been very lucky to have obtained the services of Eric Daws who is a retired IT person. Eric is at present busy Networking our class computers.
We would like to thank Eric for his many hours of [volunteering] to set up the Network.
 
Eric's wife Yvonne is an avid gardener and recently started pruning the roses at the front of our house.
