A game for groups of four players, believed originally to be derived from Whist, a dictionary refers to it as 'in which one partnership plays to fulfil a certain declaration against opponents acting as defenders'.Here at Western Region U3A a contract rubber bridge class is held every Friday morning at 10am for experienced and novice players. At this time there are no vacancies for new players, except if one of the current players leaves. In accordance with U3A policy, names can be added to a waiting list as required.
